In the back of my mind I'd always known that FIAT was Torino-based and that the city should have a rich car-related history—meaning it should have been on my travel list for quite some time. Yet somehow it hadn't. This summer my girlfriend and I finally crossed over from our more usual go-to's in Italy (the Parma region, Emilia Romagna and Campania) and boy were we in for a treat. Torino has to be one of —if not the—cleanest and neatest cities Italy has to offer.
